Given the evolving situation with COVID-19, we will be following ADA guidelines and temporarily closing for 3 weeks, beginning March 16th. What are the symptoms of TMJ/TMD?

TMJ | Fleischmann Family Dentistry | Broomfield, COTemporomandibular joint disorder, known as TMJ or TMD, is a painful condition of the joint where your lower jaw hinges to your skull.  

Some of the symptoms typically associated with TMJ/TMD include:

  • Ongoing headaches
  • Clicking or popping in the joint
  • Pain in your jaw, ears, face, neck, or shoulders
  • Sticking or locking jaws
  • Facial fatigue
  • Swelling on the side of the face
